Poem: To Diane, from the lost souls you took in and loved.

Created by Faye one year ago
She walks in the shallows of life and death
Her feet submerged in clear water
The pools reflect all of her life
Her love, pain, and strength she mustered

The water soothes her as she watches
Laughing and crying at the memories
They glisten so precious, as they are
So clear these moments, like a sacred dream

She pauses as she comes to the edge
Where the crystal clear water stops
The pools seem murky as she sees
The pain her departure brought

She sees the tears, and the laughes
And all the heartache between
In that moment she realizes
She is caught between the living and the deceased

With a tearful smile, she says goodbye
Her heavens just moments away
She'll miss her babies and her friends
Though she knows she cannot stay

She traveled the world, she loved so fully
But all things must come to an end
Because she stands in the sacred shallows
She knows there's nothing left to mend

And though her departure will cause pain
She finds the light welcoming and blinding
The water 'neath her feet slowly fades
She finds her peace painless, and inspiring

She no longer walks the shallows of life and death
Her tired body hurts no more
In this moment she's uncaged
This beautiful legend now soars...

Forever and a day, a day makes forever
Farewell oh love of mine
Warmly welcomed, forever sheltered
This love I have inside

Please rest easy, oh great Lover
For your love has changed many lives
Beyond your time, or time unstoppable
Farewell oh Diane, sweetly Divine.
